Went to Spain and this is our Madrid leg of the self-guided tour. Madrid is an amazing place with a very distinct look. While there were many tall buildings, there are barely any skyscrapers for such a large metropolitan.

Blue Snail shell Tide pools! Had to get up early early and get to Half-moon Bay/ Moss Beach for low-tide. From there we spent 3 hours during low-tide walking around on the tide pools checking out all sorts of amazing things that are hidden by the regular tides. Apparently during Memorial day, low-tide is at it’s lowest so we had a crowd of kids, teenagers and adults all wandering around to observe aquatic nature.

April 30th – Garden update
Only 2 weeks and my garden is finally starting something. Nothing to brag about, but just happy to see a change.

Despite my obsession, it’s relaxing to work the garden.
